We’ve all heard that SXSW Interactive is much larger than SXSW Music, but for proof, look no further than the hotel availability grid. All downtown hotels within walking distance are sold out during Interactive, nearly all are available for music.
The Man Who Knew - Frontline
Rewatched this documentary over the weekend about John O’Neill, the FBI’s leading Al Qaeda expert who was marginalized and mostly ignored by the Washington Headquarters. He left to become Head of Security for the World Trade Center on August 23, 2001, and died on September 11.
Well worth watching — that really goes for almost any Frontline.

I totally agree with her. Obviouisly God used Irene to create major havoc in states that haven’t legalized same-sex marriage, and for the most part, gave New York a pass. How much clearer can He make it that He is pleased to see equality and if other states don’t get on board soon, His vengeance will be swift and terrible.

One thing learned this trip: the Swiss franc is absolutely gorgeous, displacing the Euro as my favorite currency. Now if only the exchange rate wasn’t so awful…
